Definition of Personal Information
Personal information handled by the Institution refers to information that relates to the students of the school run by the Institution and their guarantors and supporters, the applicants to the school and their guarantors and supporters, the school's graduates, the participants of lecture courses, and staff members of the school, and that can be used to identify a specific individual based on personal data contained in it such as name, address, date of birth, or other entries.
Collection of Personal Information
The Institution collects personal information in an appropriate and fair manner, and within the scope necessary for achieving its business purposes.
Use and Disclosure of Personal Information
The Institution will not use personal information for any purposes outside the originally stated scope, and will not disclose personal information to third parties. However, the Institution may disclose personal information in the following exceptional situations:
- The Institution has notified the provider of personal information that such information may be disclosed to third parties.
- The Institution has obtained consent from the provider of personal information for disclosing such information to third parties.
- Disclosure is requested under certain legal conditions.

Management of Personal Information
The Institution will manage personal information properly and take necessary preventive measures against loss, alteration and leakage of and unauthorized access to personal information. In the event of an accident, it will conduct corrective measures promptly.
Access to Personal Information and Data Correction
The Institution will respond to the written request from the provider of personal information for reviewing his or her personal information if it is confirmed that such a request is made by him or her, and the reason for the request is valid. If, after such review, some personal information is demonstrated to be inaccurate or incorrect, the Institution will correct the information promptly.
Compliance with Laws and Regulations
The Institution will handle personal information in compliance with the laws and other regulations of Japan. The Institution will develop rules for dealing with personal information, audit the implementation and effectiveness of such rules regularly, and review and improve their performance on a continuous basis.
