Class Levels
Basic
This level focuses on the basic conversation and grammar of the Japanese language usually used in everyday life. The study includes writing of Hiragana, Katakana and about 2,000 Kanji characters. "Japanese for Everyone" is used as the textbook.
Intermediate
This level aims to build up vocabulary, learn higher-level language expressions, and acquire more practical language skills. It also focuses on developing the ability to smoothly carry on an everyday conversation.
Advanced
This level is intended to develop the language skills necessary to understand the news on TV and newspapers and work. It also helps learners acquire the skills they need to pass the Level 1 Japanese Language Proficiency Test, and the JETRO Business Japanese Proficiency Test.
Class Hours and Schedule
Evening Courses takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 19:00 to 20:30. Each term consists of 11 weeks (12 weeks in the 2011 autumn term and 10 weeks in the 2012 winter term). Students can continue to take courses in consecutive terms.
