Note

When you try to find housing after your arrival in Japan, you may have problems concerning contract procedures and agreement terms which are usually complicated. Or when you select your housing without actually seeing it before arriving in Japan, you may find the housing to be quite different from what you expected. For this reason, it is highly recommended that a contract for housing be signed only after you have looked at it in person if that is possible. Please refer to the following pages for information that may be useful for daily life in Japan.

If guarantors are needed, please ask your relatives or friends currently living in Japan.
