Naganuma School provides a wide range of courses, including short-term and long-term courses, evening courses, and/or on Saturdays, group lessons and private classes. Please contact us if you cannot find your desired course.

Please select a course that suits your needs best, based on your objectives, desired learning period, your current level of Japanese language ability and other factors. Feel free to contact us if you cannot decide which course to choose, or you have questions or queries.

Comprehensive Course
Single Term Program
The classes are comprised of students from various countries with varied goals for study. Japanese language skills required for work, study and everyday life in Japan will be learned in an effective manner. Classes are provided at basic, intermediate, and advanced levels.

University Prep. Course
University Prep. Course helps students to develop the language skills necessary for the entrance exams of Japanese universities, graduate schools or vocational schools.This includes preparation for International Students taking Japanese University Admission exams, the Japanese Language Proficiency Tests, and study undertaken after enrollment in your chosen University course.
It also allows those who have a school education of less than 11 years to obtain a qualification to enter a Japanese university.

Business Japanese Program
This program aims to equip the participants with Japanese language skills/business customs & manners, business communication skills, knowledge of the Japanese society and culture necessary for doing business or at a Japanese workplace. There is a coaching on job-hunting activities as well. The required level of Japanese is advanced which is equivalent to Level 2 of JLPT.

This is a special program commissioned by a company or organization, with lessons provided at our school.
The period, educational goals, class size and course materials can be customized to meet customer needs. Lessons can also be held at a client’s office, for those who are not able to attend lessons at the school.

For those who wish to work at a Japanese company

You will learn Japanese for business and acquire a working knowledge of business manners/skills as well as a good basic knowledge of the Japanese society/culture.

Comprehensive Course is very effective

This course offers classes of all levels from basics to the advanced. Students learn five days a week for one year or more. This Comprehensive Course helps the student to acquire the Japanese language skills that are useful for work, study and everyday life.

If you are planning to enter a Japanese university

University Prep. Course is designed for those who wish to enter a Japanese university or graduate school. This course provides preparation for the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students, as well as the teaching of other subjects necessary for university entrance exams, such as English and mathematics.

Customizable according to customer needs

In Private Lesson and Company Lesson courses, we can customize course materials, schedule and other conditions according to the needs or desires of our clients.

For those who find it difficult to attend school during daytime:

Evening Course is available to anyone who is too busy to attend daytime lessons.
Students learn two days a week for a term of 12 weeks (10 weeks in the summer term).
Continuous learning over multiple terms is possible.

If you need unique programs

A variety of special courses are also available, including a preparatory courses for Japanese Language Proficiency Tests and a course for learning about Japanese culture.
